West Bengal U-19 boys reclaim team title

Ankur Bhattacharjee came up with a brilliant performance as top-seed West Bengal blew away second-seeded Uttar Pradesh 3-0 to reclaim the team trophy in the under-19 Youth Boys final of the 84th Inter-State Youth and Junior National Table Tennis Championships at the Nehru Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday.

CHENNAI: Ankur Bhattacharjee came up with a brilliant performance as top-seed West Bengal blew away second-seeded Uttar Pradesh 3-0 to reclaim the team trophy in the under-19 Youth Boys final of the 84th Inter-State Youth and Junior National Table Tennis Championships at the Nehru Indoor Stadium here on Wednesday.
Though it wasn’t expected to be a one-sided final, West Bengal players showed their authority and didn’t leave any chance for the Uttar Pradesh paddlers and dominated throughout the match.
